I'm willing to own any of these flower paintings, any one of them. I'll take care of it, and love it forever and ever. Why can't I have one of them? Really, I've been very good. I deserve a Matisse, a van Gogh, a Redon. Why, why?!
Matisse’s Chinese vase is one of my all time favorites.

My mother was evaluating the Pre-Colombian art collection in the home of a rich patron of the Louis Art Museum and found several such paintings hanging in their bathroom which had a steam bath.
