Funny, this image appears in very different colors. Years ago in my college room I had a 5x7 art card with the ground purplish. Seems the original is in Philly, and they present the image with the ground more a neutral gray/black.
Replying to
Klee’s paintings seem to get better every time I look at them. I love their modesty, their contentment, their humor, the way they reflect both our rational and playful nature.
