It’s like you think police do anything to fix those things. They make it worse

Every time cops have showed up to an emergency I’ve been at they’ve made the situation worse. If I was being held at gunpoint literally the last thing I want is cops showing up. that’s how little I trust them to solve the problem

You think this hypothetical person holding you at gunpoint is gonna give you time to call the cops? Mighty kind of them.

How dense is your brain. At what point did I say they were gonna let me call the cops? My wallet isn’t worth someone dying for you fucking dipshit

Dude... Scott, I’m on your side. I’m asking this fool how he thinks anyone is going to make calls at gunpoint.

All good. To be clear to everyone else: if someone is showing up to just take notes after a crime has happened, I don’t need them to have a fucking gun.

Or if they’re showing up to friend of mine feeling suicidal. Or if a friend of mine needs to go the hospital. Or or or. The ridiculous amount of money we give police makes them feel like they’re the best response to anything and in 99% of cases they aren’t the solution
