RESIGN . San Francisco has suffered for a year, under the failed, destructive experiment in restorative justice.
Time to sign the petition and show no confidence in @chesaboudin . Chesa Must Resign. For the good of our city.

Hey Richie- I thought about signing the petition but if you dig into the data...SF has become less violent from 2019 to 2020. Car and home theft is up, but everything else is down. Why are you pissed at Chesa if data suggests things are improving?

Data is being cherry-picked to support the rosy narrative . Data also includes burglaries up 47%, car theft up 34% arson up 49% , homicides up 10%. This doesn’t include last few months of violence . Also , drug dealer market is out of control. How about data on prosecutions??

Is there a better data source? Looking into prosecution data and found that from 2019 to 2020, there’s been a 7% drop in filing rate, and an 8% drop in actions taken rate. BUT- files presented have dropped by 25%. Here’s my source:https://www.sfdistrictattorney.org/policy/da-stat/

25% drop in files presented means; relaxed laws make petty crime no longer presentable, lax laws means cops have stopped giving a crap, or SF is improving in eliminating crime. Hard to tell, I don’t have the needed context to say which is more likely. Thoughts?
