A little update to support removing Protected Process flags (RunAsPPL) in latest Windows Server 2016 with 😉. > It's also a reminder about the capability to load a driver with an *invalid* signature in latest Windows 10 x64 kernels 🤷‍♂️

Have you seen latest Microsoft Patch Tuesday security update? Multiple RCEs, mainly in web browsers, but also RCEs in DHCP client. It's pleasant to see that two of these DHCP vulnerabilities, CVE-2019-0697 and CVE-2019-0726, were discovered by Mikhail Tsvetkov from

Dropping the first part of the Heap Exploitation series today. The heap is a beautifully complex construct. Yet most heap exploitation tutorials assume it to be common knowledge, thus making it unnecessarily hard to understand. So I’ll start the series with an intro to the heap

Getting bored of your phishing templates? People getting better at "spotting the fake"? 1) Spin up responder. 2) Create email with:

3) Send emails and wait for hashes :) Block outbound SMB traffic people!

Tell me about a tool you use in reverse engineering that others might not know about. I'll start. hexdiff - a really simple tool to compare two binary files. Nothing fancy, but so fast and easy.

1/ FYI: DHCP is routable. It runs over IP. All IP packets are routable. Just because you think of it as something that doesn't get routed doesn't mean that this is actually the case.

The Intel 8087 floating point chip contained an unusual high-density ROM. It stored 2 bits per transistor by using four different transistor sizes. I look inside the chip and explain how it works in my article:

A closeup of the microcode ROM inside the 8087 chip showing four different transistor sizes.
The Intel 8087 chip is a 40-pin integrated circuit.
