I heard that the Switch runs FreeBSD. But it actually doesn't look like BSD looking at syscalls. Maybe just nintendo weirdness?

Its most likely heavely modified like other Nintendo consoles. They probably don't want anyone findind a ROP and using.

people think it's FreeBSD because "FreeBSD kernel" appears on the license list; they probably just took socket code or smth
