I absolutely love the glass-filled nylon material at @sculpteo The rigidity is fantastic, I just wish it could be dyed. It would be sweet in black.

Small update on the RGBench batch 2. All parts have arrived except for PCB's and acrylic. PCB's are delayed by Chinese New Year, should go into production early February. Acrylic was supposedly delivered, but disappeared, so I've filed a claim with UPS.

All the while, everybody on the whole server within earshot could hear is, but nobody had any idea who it was. In fact, I have no idea who my counterpart was, but I remember you, anonymous stranger. I remember.

I also had a fairly rare item that was basically a squeaky toy that would make noise that everyone could hear but nobody knew who had it. So I sat around in one of the main gathering areas squeaking it until somebody else who had one replied and we started playing Simon.

The best part was some of the NPC's in the game weren't actually NPC's because the devs hadn't managed to code them yet, so instead they were just bots. Which meant that they were also killed, and it took quite awhile for anyone to get around to respawning them.

I used to play this MMO called The Mana World, and I still remember the day one of the GM's somehow mapped the "kill all players" server command to a hotkey, and then, upon inevitably pressing said hotkey, global messaged the whole server "my bad".

I'm currently using an NSA cracking tool to reverse-engineer a sewing machine. What a time to be alive.

Well, I still haven't managed to get my hands on the original Final Fantasy Adventure background image from the Switch release, but I have a good enough screenshot to redraw the whole thing by hand. Tons of compression noise makes color matching hard, but doable.

Interesting find of the night. In Link's Awakening (the original and DX versions for GB), the Totaka's Song Easter egg in Richard's Villa isn't actually implemented in code. The track never changes. Totaka's Song is just part of the Richard's Villa track data.

File is re-upped, not going to link it here but it's up on Zeldix under the MSU-1 hacks database (DKC is in the Jump 'n Run category).

I'm just really mad right now, because this is the second time it's happened, meaning I probably have 2 strikes against my account. For fscking filename matching.

I really don't want to risk filing a counterclaim, but I'm going to reupload with a different filename and hope for the best.

Looks like M*diaf*re is still allowing the ESA to issue DMCA takedown notices on filename alone, without any regard to the actual content. Word to the wise, don't upload any files containing the words "Donkey Kong Country (U) (1.2)" in the filename. "(E) (1.1)" is fine though...
