well 800K number is approximate City population, though have seen estimates of almost 900K. Census will give us a different #. Of those, not all are eligible to vote, some due to age, others due to circumstances. Of those eligible, only 521K were registered, only 449K voted.

but your point is accurate, more people who were eligible to vote or who were registered to vote did not vote than the total votes for the DA winner. The City gets the results, doesn't mean you or I need to like the results, cause I for one didn't vote for Chesa.

True, not all 800k can vote. But it’s still terrible that less that 1/2 of voters voted in DA race.....
