Why push for expensive, permanent, risky surgeries like circumcision when it only decreases risk of infection by a tiny insignificant fraction? The article cites “60% reduction” when in fact it’s a mere decrease from roughly 2% to 1.4% but of course they wouldn’t cite that

Awesome!!
Thank you for aiding protests and being on the front lines -
Every day all day
As a patient I even raise #piawareness leading Team#Intactivists at the@IDFCommunity#NYC#IDF (#immuneDeficiency Foundation) Walk every year by educating patients#livingwithpi that#foreskin is part of the#immunesystem#primaryimmunodeficiency#pientrypic.twitter.com/Lcudlew3ug

That’s incredible! What a great way to combine different advocacies

-
The longer I live, I notice how human rights issues intermingle in essence. Us born without immune systems subjected to RIC have stark ratios. I have been trying to get that message out since I worked in
#NICU (where I lived as an infant) and saw PI patients being wheeled down. -
Yeah I’ve noticed many other parallels to Intactivism too, although in my case slightly different ways (other unnecessary procedures) for example. But it’s great how we find ways to apply our activism elsewhere. Spreading education

Rich men are not GOOD men, they know what they are doing. Billionaires are bad people- or else they wouldn't be billionaires. Funding male genital mutilation is entirely keeping within character for billionaire "philanthropist" trash.
-
Sad. They could be using their billions to help victims of forced circumcision get compensation money and eventually foreskin regeneration.
-
There's no glamour in that. Due to their insatiable greed they have way more money than they could ever possibly need- don't spend a cent on anything that doesn't benefit themselves; they crave power & adoration. Helping men undo genital mutilation won't earn them societal praise
-
Sad. It should. I'd be praising wealthy and influential people if they were against all forced genital cutting.

Not only cheaper but much more logical.
