Here’s a call to action for would-be allies: Keep wearing that face mask every moment you’re in public & without complaint until a vaccine is found. Doing so protects essential workers (often PoC) & limits our exposure to a medical system rife w/ bias that can be deadly for us.

Someone said to me they wear it not just to protect but to model appropriate behavior. I so agree. It's annoying when my glasses fog,and I have to adjust the damp mask. But it's an inconvenience, not a problem.

I feel you! And every time I begin to feel annoyed about huffing my own hot air for another 10 minutes, I think about how much more a ventilator would suck.

This is something my family is already doing. Also, anytime Lucy notices someone not wearing a mask in public she very loudly asks, “Why are they not wearing their mask?” I will continue to encourage her to ask this question as loudly as possible.

Haha yes same here!! Last time my 3yr kid said "I'm really angry about people not wearing their masks" me too hunny. If a 3yr old can suck it up and wear a mask then so can everyone else!
