Would a helmet protecting a driver in a motor racing crash make a strong case for the compulsory wearing of helmets in cars?

You tell me. Cycle helmets make all cyclists safer on roads in the same way seat belts make drivers safer. Common sense.

I know many cases in which the helmet made the difference. There might be cases where helmets make people reckless, but that is there fault.

However making them compulsory will STATISTICALLY make little difference. Choice key

then hospital staff should have the choice whether or not to treat you for any resultant accident
