@Lennyjacobson That is not true. I know people who have been in and out of rehab for heroin. It's a choice they made to begin with. -

@HiBombo He wasn't a junkie, he was an addict ..alcoholic,Who was clean for 22 yrs & supported others & sadly relapsed & heroin took him. -

@questlove You can't measure the achievements of both but his death was tragic. As a black musician myself I don't think it's a race issue -
@upperclassmen i didn't say it was a race issue. and yes i think it would've been in better taste to postpone his cover story. -

@questlove A death always takes precedent and Phillips career has been pretty illustrious. It's not like they said he's never going 2 get it -
@upperclassmen can't trust that. Beatles/Dylan/Stones = lifetime covers. only "of the moment" black artists that are in radar will get love. -
