Imagine LinkedIn. Linkedin doesn't provide any APIs. So a Dev can't build apps that use the user's professional data.
Imagine government Tax authorities. They don't provide any APIs. So a Dev can't build apps that leverage a user's financial health or employment signals.

Reclaim Protocol does precisely that. Reclaim Protocol lets users export their user data from one app to another in a tamper-proof way.
So if a user says they've bought a mobile phone on Amazon, there will also be attached proof that Amazon said so too.

An employee can prove thier code contribution to a organisation's private repo without giving away their own details or details of the project. Also, the employees can generate proofs of thier skills in their resume and proof that thier code is original.
