so there's only so much wiggle room i can express myself in w/o being invalidated.

as oppressive cisheteropatriarchy is to women, femmes, even queers, many of them still subscribe and are invested to these ideals.

because they're still born and raised in a world that ingrains this way of thinking in their minds.

but it's why i'm so braggadocios about queer/bi/pan folx (especially men+femmes), it's revolutionary & challenges the binary.

^because most of us exist outside of it.

but bisexual individuals don’t get express their gender identities in unconventional ways, because we're further invalidated & erased.

pan/bisexual/queer men don't have a space to express femininity w/o fear of our sexuality being nullified (yes, even in the gay community).

and this is because (men, obviously) but also, many women equate queerness to femininity and femininity to weakness/unmanliness.
