the idea that using computer code to make art is "cheating" only makes sense if you choose to ignore that 1) artists ALWAYS "cheat" 2) making good art with code is really f*ing hard 😬

Yeah that was a joke. I was saying that all technology in art history is technically 'cheating', so the accusation is meaningless.

this is at least in part because and i were talking about how many poets have told me i’m “cheating” for using AI to generate text.
