This is like the most maddening thing to me. You can't just say "hurr wear a mask if you're sick", dipshits, because people are spreading this for days before they get symptoms. The only way to have this work is a strong social norm that EVERYONE wears masks, like in Asia.

CNN straight up said masks were “futile.” The author of that article is @scottieandrew . I’ve been trying to contact her about why she included that but she won’t reply.
