It's not really about his staff; it's all about him since his dad is in Federal Prison and he can't visit him right now. That's what it really boils down to. He ought to be ashamed of himself thinking that his lies should get him ahead of the line.
He should wait. He's only 40 years old. He is obviously not a senior or a frontline responder. He is not doing any favors for law abiding citizens in San Francisco.

It's pretty crummy for you to also try to prioritize yourself when senior citizens get called up for jury duty and have far greater risks than yourself and your staff. I am a senior and get called up for Jury Duty not that long ago but didn't have to go in. I was fortunate.
