A possible solution to this is to mention the capsule's porthole earlier, perhaps by means of the light of Sirius B shining on the arbiter through the porthole. But that might break the focus of that scene, which heretofore was focused on the arbiter, Exa, and the TV.
I thought it was clear from the earlier chapter where Exa is clearly transmitted to Sirius but this is fixable anyway
I may have been being confused by the old ending, where the conversation with the arbiter happens in virtual space aboard the spaceship not yet arrived at Sirius.
