Maybe you just need to be told that it's good. I wish it ended on a happier note, unless you plan on making some kind of sequel. Nice to see people still wanting the world to be a better place even when it was snatched away from them for seemingly all time.
I honestly couldn't think of a happier ending which didn't retcon established facts and thereby cheat the reader. Even if I could think of one now, I like the new ending logically and thematically and the prospect of another rewrite is unthinkable
Humanity Mk. II it is then! I'm a bit worried about a loop for the Ra crisis, recursive realities may have already lead to this happening. I wonder, how do people do things different when they think they might be caught in a loop?
