Apropos of nothing: the reason you are unlikely to ever see a direct TV adaptation from the SCP wiki is that you cannot, in so many words, "buy the rights" to any SCP.

As you see in the footer of every page on the SCP wiki http://www.scp-wiki.net/ , wiki content is licenced under CC-BY-SA 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ ….

The terms of CC-BY-SA 3.0 do allow you to, without requesting permission from or notifying the author, develop and sell a television show based on any SCP. However, crucially, your derivative work must be distributed under the same licence

This means anybody else can create and sell their own show based on your show and/or the original SCP. They can even redistribute and sell YOUR show. I am not a lawyer.

What you are more likely to see is established SCP *authors* making the transition from the free wiki to paid, mainstream, *original* science fiction/fantasy/horror work. This, I believe, has happened a few times.

And that's why There Is No Antimemetics Division Television Show. That's one of the reasons. Okay, that's not the reason.

Replying to @qntm
The great thing about the Antimemetics Division show is that every time you watch it is the first time.
