Low level: Seems you like snappy prose but prose not snappy in places. Suspect that is due to less edit passes. Pillow connotations soft, less scary than before. Does table break more make sense? Purple near ultraviolet, actinic come first instance = better spooky during fight.

Colours is frequency. I'm thinking the closer to ultraviolet, the more the magic, the red is closer to infrared. However, I didn't know that's what it was until after you used the word actinic which came later, so putting it there the first time might be prettier.
It was not my intention that some colours be more magical than others... will think about this.
Tweets are small! I'm not certain if the table should break more or less since I don't have a good idea on the length of the table. There was about a hundred people there, so I'd expect something like out of Hogwarts, but that's just my own imagination doing shorthand.
