Is there any way to give a phone app access to, like, a device which it thinks is the file system but is empty/useless? Or a mock camera

E.g. app won't work unless it can read my contacts list -> I give it access to a fake contacts list -> app works, real contacts stay private
Like those USB condoms which let you charge from a USB connector without worrying about exposing data
