Alright I think I'm going to write a brief taxonomy of teleportation models. A few off the top of my head: Crowbar, Comb and Switch

Destructive teleportation: whatever is at the target is annihilated somehow to make room for the source.
3-switch teleportation: source arrives at target, target volume "disappears", matter from a MYSTERIOUS THIRD PLACE arrives at source

discontinuity teleportation: a stable or moving plane of discontinuity joins source and target volumes (Door, basically).
