"Inv" turns "ln" in to "e^x", "sin" into "sin^-1", etc.
Every time I want a square root in Windows Calculator I automatically hit "Inv" and "x²" and then wonder why it doesn't work

Of course it also turns the "π" button into "2*π" so your guess is as good as mine

Nothing. Left unchanged. There's a separate button for square roots, it's on the other side of the numeric keys
