One of the major current problems with Fine Structure is that Powers Of Two superheroes disappear entirely for the second half.

@qntm The Powers, I'm my reading, were neither central nor inessential - they were necessary as an example of power cut off, and the Jail.
@benlkeith Excising the Powers arc leaves a gaping wound in the story but the more I think about it the easier it seems to patch it up

@qntm I'm verycurious how you'd patch it! Without Powers, this seems like the plot would be dueling theoreticians. Fun, but less flashy. -
