I started writing an updated edition of How To Destroy The Earth and stopped because I genuinely don't know how we can do it.

I don't think humans could destroy the Earth even if we wanted to. And that's... actually, really sad

What alternative do we have, to destroying the Earth?

Do you realise that in all probability no other intelligent species will ever even know that we existed?

I'm saying that wrecking major celestial bodies is the only way humanity can validate itself

I'm saying we need to do something so unspeakable to our galaxy that other civilisations in other galaxies can see what we did

Nobody's going to see those footprints on the Moon unless we give them a good reason to come looking
