Why on Earth does C++ have two separate data types for sets and "unordered sets"
@hobbified And if I instantiate a "set" then I obviously don't, because sets aren't ordered

@qntm the concept of a set doesn't impose order. A physical realization of a set may be kept in order without it ceasing to be a set. -
@qntm C++ gives the shorter name to the one used more often because that provides a benefit that observing quibbles doesn't. - 1 more reply
