No. SCP-2000 is not part of the story. If it were, I would have mentioned it in the text at some point
There has been no repopulation. Those people are *gone*. Did I miscommunicate this? If so please let me know because that's a pretty serious issue and I would need to make a clarifying edit

If it was just US or THEM that disappeared permanently, I think that should be clarified. Since everybody but Adam was in some way infected or rendered braindead, it wouldn't make sense for all 3125 affected people to be gone, since O5-8 is alive and more importantly [1/2]

Actually, I think it's fine. I misinterpreted O5-8's 'people' to be humanity in general rather than foundationers specifically, so it's pretty clearly the people that 3125 obliterated prior to its full incarnation. I wouldn't worry about it, sorry for the confusion.
