I have no clue whether this makes good sense epidemiologically speaking but spreading the load by creating small non-familial societies seems like a decent potential way for people with kids to not go completely insane

you can't send kids to school at scale anymore but you can at least leave them with parents 3 and 4 for a day and go somewhere else, anywhere else, and sleeeeb

we're strongly considering doing this here, but still worried about the large increase in possibility of contracting something - the odds are much higher in a household. But hell, my kid managed to catch strep throat anyway, so what do we know about epidemiology.
