the pushback Google must have got when they added their company name to the default Android keyboard spacebar must have been MURDEROUS, that thing disappeared so quickly

the major change from Google Hangouts to Google Meet is that it still lives in the bottom corner of Gmail but when you minimise it it no longer remembers refresh the page, it's open again! eyecatching blue icon! "New"! GO AWAY

it was also among the most infuriating UI design choices ever, absolutely unreal how they managed it, I would never have thought of putting text there or that it would hurt so much
