Banning DST wouldn't kill this strategy, anyway, you can always set your clock back to 8 March 2020 no matter what blissful future year of perfectly continuous civil time you live in

The best part is the clocks were due to go back at 3:00 on a Sunday, so the fateful announcement was made with no warning in the middle of Friday

If Baten Kaitos was rereleased on Switch, we theorized that the DST could cause a bug making every item evolve instantly, saving over 250 hours for 100%.
