The question I can’t imagine you answering — because it’s been intentionally avoided over and over again — is this all one giant Xanatos plot by Marion Wheeler that she asynchronously put in motion, or did the human race just get lucky enough to have one last chance?

If it is a Xanatos plot, then it had to have been Marion realizing Adam’s potential upon meeting him and grooming him for all those years into the hero that saves the world. I’d have to look at the timeline.
