the majority show violent incomprehension at our simple decision. why, why? it is a simple "1" I say, why not? though I have not read it, I do not deny that it is a "1". do you require additional validation from me?

some of us do not want the "ending" "spoiled". some fully intend to read the "1" one day, under particular circumstances. when an enormous existential need is felt, perhaps. and/or when near death. some deny the "1" outright
