I prefer to believe that it was because once the graphics & 3D novelty wore off as many other movies did it, people recognized how much it stunk and moved on. Don't take this from me.

Yes, but only because the female protagonist said the full name of the male protagonist with an interesting accent the entire film. I have no idea what her name is.

this is why I feel relieved when a popular media property fails (i.e. star wars, dexter, any big obnoxious youtuber, adelle); maybe I won't have to hear people gush about it anymore. the artificially inflated discourse wears me out so badly.
