That was it, thanks! Apparently iOS Safari lacks any way of doing a force-refresh. (Private browsing does show the new CSS.) I like it! (I do prefer serif fonts for long text, but there is always reader mode for that.)

I'll also miss the trademark blue background, but the new one does seem a lot easier on the eyes.
