Deal with a memetic threat of course :) But seriously, a book I was trying to read turned out to contain a gross idea, and I felt betrayed. It's silly, but I was really upset.

For a while I lost faith that I would be able to put myself out there are talk to people I disagreed with. But your story is giving me a metaphor for dealing with this problem. And hope. Thank you.
