I propose a five-tier hierarchy of Continuous Delivery Maturity, the name of each tier is simply the latest day in the working week on which you feel comfortable deploying

If you're comfortable deploying on a Friday, that's the top tier. If you only deploy on Mondays because deployments are routinely followed by days of downtime and firefighting, ulp

There could be tiers below "Monday" but at that point you're not even delivering weekly, which arguably is too slow to qualify as "Continuous Delivery"

Problem: If your project is mature enough to be comfortable deploying on Friday, it's probably stable enough to not need a deployment.
