That's quaternary, not hexadecimal. Also, there is already an extension in normal roman numerals: overlining a letter (opposite of underlining) is x1000.
Rules for hexadecimal Roman numerals: * M = 4096, D = 1024, C = 256, L = 64, X = 16, V = 4, I = 1 * Any letter can appear up to three times in a row * Just add, there's no "IX" subtraction rule * Largest expressible integer without extensions is MMMDDDCCCLLLXXXVVVIII = 16383
