Advertising in your install log is going to be as simple as dropping a banner ad on your website. Install log ads are going to have all the same problems and very familiar solutions
But having package repositories forbid ads in the same way they forbid any other unauthorized code execution sounds like a no-brainer. If an install script does anything that hasn't been vetted and specifically approved, that's a security issue.
