PYTHON: there should be one, and preferably only one, obvious way to do things ALSO PYTHON: okay you can use either venv or virtualenv, but they can be tedious so there's also Pipenv. And this language-agnostic thing called direnv, but REALLY you should be using Poetry

"Packaging is the worst thing about Python." - me, for years I tell that to my co-workers when educating them about Python - over many years I've found it to be constantly true. I love Python and have no plans to move away from it, but man has packaging always been a headache.
