Is it just me who uses both <em> and <i> on different occasions depending on whether text requires emphasis or mere italics, and sometimes both nested when needed

I almost exclusively use \emph{} in LaTeX for this reason, as anything that needs italics and not emphasis is usually automatically typeset that way by whatever command/package
