For Pete's sake, people, you don't "sew dissent", you sow it. Like you sow seeds in a field, planting them so that they grow. Needles and thread are not involved! How does that even make sense

No no, you've got it all wrong, it's "sew descent". Because clothing is a symbol of culture (and, hence, cultural change), so as culture descends into chaos the first step is to sew its depraved garments.
