I finally got off my ass and set up restic last year. I sometimes remember to check the logs to see if the backups are actually running. They tend to be.

Everything that i have what is of value is either ripped from phisical sources or is on the cloud. All my passwords are graphically hashed too, so even if my hands forget how to type them, no way i forget the seeds and the key.

That way you can also store your passwords in clear text after you've changed it for any reason, if you already remember the hashing method you use for this particular type of a service.
