So, wait, "Perl" and "Perl 6" are COMPLETELY unrelated? In every possible way?
They were built by the same person, they have similar-looking syntax, Perl 6 borrows some design principles from Perl and I believe, on some occasions, Perl code can be executed natively by the Perl 6 interpreter

That said, I think it would have been much better to deprecate the name "Perl 6" entirely for a release, then just call it "Raku" forever starting at version 6.e, say
