It's funny how many people are worried about potential EU time zone changes. Do you not regularly update your copy of the tz database? Why not?

Tz dbs live inside big SQL databases as well (for example PostgreSQL supports operations between tzs). Updating a several TB of data database without disturbing a service it provides can be challenging.
