Unexpected issue: the high energy magic warning trefoil is much more aesthetically pleasing when it has five or seven arms instead of three, but can't be modified as that would be totally inconsistent with the story
On the other hand, if the symbol is on the cover of the book, then maybe the reader, at least, will make the connection between its appearance as a high energy magic warning and as the shape seen inside the Sun, hopefully cultivating a solid "Wait, WHAT?" reaction

That last certainly seems like a good reason. But I'm not sure the current one is sufficiently evocative of "hazard trefoil". Both existing ones are point-down and widen near the tips. Tweaking parameters...

ra1=200, ra2=225, θ1=0.14, and the b set unchanged is more evocative of radiation trefoil without being easily confused with it. ra1=16, ra2=200, ra3=135, θA=0.26, rb1=44, rb2=5, rb3=14, θB=0.64 says "biohazard" a bit more. Or try θb>2,<3 with b set like the latter.
