    Publishing burn out is real. Be kind to yourself. Everything doesn’t happen all at once. Take it one step at a time if you need. Being stress free while making small steps is better than being overwhelmed and unable to function. This is especially for my young POC colleagues.

    While I was watching anime with my niece today she gasps and says “Have you read SLAY by yet? It’s so cool” & my heart melted because she loves seeing herself in the main character. Representation matters and see her light up talking about that book is just 🥺💕
