    Also there was a big ol' chunk of time where *I* didn't get this divide either, and would just run into drone chats (and sometimes actual play situations) with all my electronics and engineering and gadgets and doodads and hoo boy lemme tell you that's a special kind of awkward.

    There are, of course, exceptions to this rule, who are absolutely going to show up on this thread and berate me for incorrect generalizations of the drone community (hive? Cube? Army? What's the plural?) so I'll just say "hi " right now and get that out of the way.

    Like they show up all excited "OH I'M REALLY INTO ROBOTS TOO" then I just start talking about engineering and it's like I can just hear the interest deflate and I imagine them making sad beeping noises and then I die.
