You have me tearing up.... I am so sorry that you and so many others go through this every day. My wish is for people to open their eyes and stop denying that this is real.
That is my wish as well. I've been asking my friends to share their stories too. So many of us have them. The goal is that enough of our stories get to enough people that can then say they know someone who's been through it. And that any of us could've been George Floyd.
As a white woman this is gut wrenching. I'm so very sorry for what happens regularly to you & every black person. I've seen this shit happen to my nephew (adopted) while his white friends walk away. I started protesting this in '67 yet so little has changed. Thanks for sharing
