This year is about gratitude. Not the obvious things, but the ones I sometimes take for granted. Like the fact that I can see. I can walk. I have the most complex system in the universe running my systems day & night... on its own. There's water all around me....
I can drink it. Shower in it, hot or cold. Food from all over the world at restaurants within miles of me. I can talk to anyone face to face on a screen in my hand. And if I need to get to them I can fly there on a plane. I can fly anywhere in this country within hours...
Anywhere in this world within a day. I can watch almost any movie ever made by looking it up on a TV. Listen to any song ever made on an app. I’m writing this now on an app that connects me to people all over the world. Connects me to you. And as we head into 2020,
I'm keeping this recognition at the fore. As I'm aware that not everyone can say the same. Some cannot see, or drink clean water. But if you can, let me know. And tell me something simple that you're grateful for too.
